Overview
Fi360 provides portfolio analysis and reporting tooling for advisors operating under fiduciary obligation. That obligation shapes the engineering far more than any interface or raw performance requirement ever did, and it shaped every decision a great deal earlier.
A figure shown to an advisor today may later have to be defended to a regulator, so every calculation behind it must be reproducible against the data and the methodology in force at the time, not merely correct at the moment it happened to be rendered to a screen.
Calculation logic therefore stays versioned and centralised in the .NET service layer rather than spread across the AngularJS front end, and every report resolves against point-in-time inputs. A quietly redefined metric is considerably worse than a visible outage.
