CRG

The Community Resource Guide for Evident Change, built on NestJS and Nuxt: an intake professionals complete on a family, answered by structured search over the community resources that fit what it found.

Full stack: NestJS · TypeScript · Nuxt · Tailwind

Overview

CRG is used where a court is deciding something about a family — divorce, custody, the arrangements that follow — and the decision usually involves children. A professional works through an intake covering background history, and the guide answers it with the services that fit: resources carrying eligibility rules, coverage areas, and availability that all change without notice.

That makes accuracy an operational concern rather than a technical one. The people best placed to keep the resource data current are programme staff rather than developers, and that shaped every decision after it. A strongly typed content model in NestJS and TypeScript carries editing workflows built for maintainers who are not developers.

Validation rejects bad records before an intake can ever reach them, and search is structured rather than free-text. Filtering by eligibility and location returns a defensibly correct set of options to somebody who has a family in front of them, and who has to be able to say afterwards why these and not others.
